Mark Flegg, Trumpet

I’ll be sitting in with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra this week, playing Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 7, the “Leningrad” Symphony.

It’s been a long time since I’ve performed with the DSO and I’m really looking forward to making music with this group of amazing musicians.

Also on the program, violinist James Ehnes will perform Samuel Barber’s Concerto for Violin and Orchestra.

Peter Oundjian will be conducting.
